ADDICTS

Amanda Abercrombie grew up watching addiction destroy people she loved. As a teacher, she watched it take students. In recovery herself, she decided the culture around sobriety felt wrong — clinical, shameful, invisible. So she built a brand that wears the reminder loudly.

Recovery looks cool.
That’s not a slogan.
It’s a statement.
Don’t Slip isn’t a sober-living pamphlet. The logo is edgy. The taglines hit hard. The fit is fire. We make gear people actually want to wear — because visibility matters. Every person rocking a Don’t Slip shirt is a walking reminder that recovery is real, it’s possible, and it doesn’t look like a sad after-school special.

Why This Aesthetic

We chose streetwear deliberately. The recovery world skews toward soft pastels and inspirational script. We went the other way. Bold. Dark. Neon. Gritty. Because people in recovery are not fragile. They survived something most people can’t imagine.

Why These Taglines

“Don’t Slip.” “Grip Tight.” “Still Here.” “Never Alone.” These aren’t slogans we workshopped in a boardroom. They’re the things you say to yourself at 2am. Putting them on a hat or a shirt makes them visible — and visibility saves lives.
